Solar Day 2011
One feature of Solar Day 2011 is a Solar Home Tour with a variety of local systems hosted by owners and installers. This unique opportunity provides up-close access to active solar systems powering the homes of local residents, and to the owners themselves who have researched, purchased, and operated systems for several months or more. Whether attending the Solar Day main event or not, you are welcome to visit these homes during the hours of 10am-2pm on Saturday June 18, 2011 and quiz those most knowledgeable about its design and use. To attend, read and agree to the text below, and you will be guided to the list of local Solar Tour homes. Thanks for your participation!
SolarDay 2011 Home Tour property owners do not receive any compensation for their participation and open their homes as a public service. Although SolarDay 2011 organizers, sponsors, and Home Tour property owners have made every effort to keep the viewing areas safe, I understand that not every hazard can be foreseen, so care should be taken to assess the safest way to view the solar equipment. I agree that if any portion of a property visited appears unsafe, I agree not to enter until it has been made safe. Children and minors must be kept under control and not move about any property without supervision.
