The Gulf States Renewable Energy Industries Association was founded to encourage the development of a renewable energy economy through informed policy intervention, stakeholder education, and industry support.

The unlimited potential of plentiful renewables such as solar, wind, geothermal and hydrokinetic sources in the central Gulf States provides an opportunity to create long-lasting job growth and reduced dependence on foreign energy supplies, while helping shift energy sources to clean and dependable technologies.

GSREIA is a 501(c)6 non-profit, open-membership trade association with an elected board of directors. The Association is a core chapter of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and represents Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
